Amelia Griffin is a Speech Pathologist, graduated from Flinders University, Adelaide in 2020. An Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnostician with extensive expertise in various areas, including Articulation and Phonology,Language Development and Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Voice Disorders,Cognitive-Communication Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC), Social Communication Skills, and Dementia. She has worked with individuals of all ages, demonstrating a broad range of experience and skill.

Sandra Griffin has over 30 years of experience in management and administration of various businesses, spanning across a broad range of industries including Not-for-Profit organisations.

Amelia noticed a common frustration among her clients, with outdated visuals in AAC apps. When an elderly client commented on the childlike images in AAC apps, Amelia recognised the need for age-appropriate therapy apps for older adults.

To bridge this gap and improve communication for all her clients, she created her own custom-tailored AAC app. Amelia's app aims to make communication less daunting and more accessible across all age groups, enhancing individuals’ quality of life.

Amelia noticed common challenges among clients of all ages, from children to the elderly, regarding working memory and attention skills. She observed that her school-aged students struggled to listen and retain information in the classroom. Despite conducting extensive research and trying various therapy methods, she found a lack of Australian therapy apps addressing these areas, especially for adults.

Motivated to fill this gap, Amelia developed her own therapy app to enhance memory and attention skills for individuals of all ages. Whether it's managing conditions like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder, combating cognitive decline associated with neurological conditions or ageing, improving academic success, or maximising someone’s potential in life, Amelia's therapy app aims to empower individuals to thrive.
